Jaebum fans donated a total of $64,000
The fans of 2PM's former leader Park Jaebum have been showing continuous acts of good deeds, creating a positive environment to all around them.
They have created a bean bank under portal site Naver's online donation page, 'Happy Bean,' under the name of 'People That Love Park Jaebum.' A 'bean bank' can be used personally or by a group in order to collect cyber donation funds in a cyber collection.
A fanclub for Jaebum's age 20+ fans named 'Underground' have administered the bean bank for 'People That Love Park Jaebum' since last September 11th. They have saved a total of $66,000 in their bank and have donated a total of $64,000.
Through 10 different donations, they have consistently donated every month to international adoptees and the Childrens' Foundation.
The administrator of the bean bank, 'Hidden Angel,' stated, "All of the charity project from now on will be done under the name 'People That Love Park Jaebum.' In order to be confident fans in front of Park Jaebum, let's try not to post hate about the other members."
Fans have stated, "Jaebum, I'm thankful to be able to do good deeds because of you," "We are sharing love," and "I hope that through you, the world can become a bit brighter."
Netizens that have seen the donations did not spare their compliments, stating, "You can see the nature of a star by just looking at his fans."
Thanks to his amazing fans, Jaebum is receiving compliments on their behalf and will be making his return to the nation in June through Hype Nation.
